lo mismo de siempre

tonight ended up being neutral. it was great to see my friend again, and sad that some things remain the same. i should be asleep. i should be happy. instead there is this strange feeling because of that little portion of no change. i shouldn't worry about it though. i should let it go for tomorrow is a work day and if i don't let it go it will just snowball into a very bad friday.

so, here are some fotos of tonight. click to enlarge!

a few days now...

i've been stuck in a strange mood lately, but let's see. i did my first long bike ride in a long while. it took me about 5o minutes each way to go to the bank. by car i suppose it might be about 15 minutes with all the stop signs and red lights and traffic. so yes, it is substantially different going on bicycle than through car. overall it felt good, but it did stink that the lobby was already closed by the time i got to the bank, and it would have been a hassle going through the drive-thru because of the bicycle. whatever. i guess i'm making my car payment tomorrow morning.

i am looking forward to finding a solution to my bicycle battery problems with part of my tax return. i think i would be more likely to ride to work on bike if i had the headlight, tail light, and brake light working. the pedal assist would give me quite a bit of hope that i can get home before dark after work. for now i will stick to riding around the old fashioned way. i can always use the exercise!

i would really like to go to Guate. i am tempted to use the rest of the tax return towards that, but i think my best option will be to pay down anything with high interest who knows, i might end up using all of it for that instead of investing some in my bicycle.
